The Manhattan Historical Society will be hosting a presentation on wildlife photography by amateur photographer Renny Seiwert. Renny will be presenting how he uses woodsmanship to scout and locate wildlife into the proper settings and backgrounds to get those winning shots. His presentation will include wildlife subjects, equipment and preparation, site selection and photographic techniques.
His photography interests are diverse including, as he says, “everything from fighter planes to bumblebees”.
The free event is scheduled for Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Manhattan Historical Museum, 255 S. State Street, Manhattan, Illinois.
Due to limited seating in the main gallery, reservations will be necessary for the two sessions offered. With the classroom sized setting, this event should be relaxed and casual and should promote personal dialog and interaction.
